Job summary

Sanguine Biosciences, Inc. seeks an entry-level Laboratory Technician I to process human biospecimens for research, including plasma, serum, and PBMC isolation, under direct guidance. The role covers accessioning, documentation, and routine QC while rotating into fulfillment tasks on schedule.

You will document all work per SOPs, participate in cross-training, and work toward independent sign-off with potential advancement to Laboratory Technician II as you gain experience and skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with at least 1 year of life science lab experience or 2+ years as a Biorepository Associate.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
• Intermediate computer skills.
• Complete cross-training and be signed off on kit build and frozen shipment prep.

Responsibilities

• Accession biospecimens and document collection details per SOPs.
• Process whole blood into plasma, serum, and PBMCs with guidance and SOPs.
• Isolate immune cell subsets (T, B, NK) from whole blood.
• Prepare aliquots, count cells, and perform basic QC.
• Ship samples and manage storage with LIMS updates.
• Follow GDP, QMS, safety and regulatory requirements.
