Canventa Life Sciences, Inc. seeks a Lab Technician to ensure biologically relevant samples are processed and distributed to researchers worldwide.

You will handle isolation, manufacture, and analysis of cell-based products from healthy blood and bone marrow specimens, in alignment with SOPs and regulatory standards. Typical shifts are 9:00am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday, with potential changes for business needs.

Formación

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a biological science, with focus on immunology/hematology.
• 1–2 years of laboratory or clinical testing experience preferred.
• Understanding of GLP regulations and excellent documentation skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform cell processing and analysis on blood and bone marrow specimens using laboratory instruments.
• Complete batch records and manage materials, specimens, and reagents in the LIMS.
• Prepare and review laboratory reports, document abnormal values, and take corrective actions.
• Monitor, inventory, and quality control laboratory equipment and temperatures.

Join Canventa Life Sciences as a Lab Technician, where we are revolutionizing the collection, processing, and distribution of donated blood and bone marrow specimens, delivering research-ready samples that drive groundbreaking discoveries.

As a Laboratory Technician, you will perform a variety of laboratory procedures, including the isolation, manufacture, and analysis of fresh and cryopreserved cell-based products from healthy blood and bone marrow specimens.

Typical shifts are Monday - Friday from 9:00am - 5:00pm. Please note that hours may change depending on business needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform cell processing and analysis on human blood, bone marrow, and cord blood specimens, using a variety of laboratory instruments and techniques in accordance to the established SOPs, Federal and State regulations, and GLP
• Accurately complete batch records by carefully receiving, recording, and processing all materials, specimens, and reagents for order requests using the Laboratory Information Management System
• Independently prepare and review laboratory reports, record abnormal values, and take preventative corrective actions as required
• Conduct routine monitoring, inventory, and quality control of laboratory equipment, temperature controlled units and working conditions, including equipment maintenance and calibration

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a biological science, with a focus on immunology and/or hematology; 1-2 years of laboratory or clinical testing experience is preferred
• Ability to use a wide variety of laboratory equipment (use and maintenance, laboratory testing procedures and laboratory precautions)
• An understanding of GLP regulations as well as excellent documentation skills in order to complete paperwork dealing in all aspects of Quality Control
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), with the ability to establish good working relationships with a variety of professional, technical and non-technical staff
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, with strong technical aptitude and the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new software and digital tools
