Job summary

Sanguine Biosciences in San Diego, CA, is hiring an entry-level Laboratory Technician I to process human biospecimens and document procedures under supervision. You will handle whole blood, plasma, serum, PBMCs, and related samples, performing cell counting, cryopreservation, and basic assays in a regulated, GDP-conscious setting.

Role rotates between processing and fulfillment duties, contributing to LIMS entries and following SOPs.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree with at least 1 year of experience in a life science laboratory environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Complete cross-training and be signed off on kit build within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Accurately document biospecimen collection information following SOPs.
• Process whole blood into plasma, serum, and PBMC per SOPs with guidance.
• Isolate immune cell subsets such as T, B, and NK cells.
• Conduct cell counting, aliquot preparation, and sample thawing.
• Assist with routine sample QC and post-thaw viability under guidance.
• Document all work and perform LIMS entries per company standards.
