Job summary

Tampa General Hospital's Biorepository team is seeking an entry-level BAS 1 to support handling, processing, and storage of diverse bioanalytes. The role emphasizes accurate sample tracking, data entry in LIMS, and adherence to biospecimen integrity standards within the PMBioR program.

Under supervision, you will assist with SOPs, perform routine analyte processing tasks, and help maintain regulatory compliance across CI partnerships and external sponsors. Strong attention to detail is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Science or related field.
• Minimum one year of experience working with biological samples.
• Knowledge of GCP, HIPAA, IATA or related regulatory training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, preserve, and store biospecimens per SOPs while maintaining sample integrity.
• Receive, catalog, and store specimens in LIMS with accuracy.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments and analytical equipment.
• Document and track laboratory activities, regulatory compliance docs, and study results.
• Collaborate with Biorepository staff and CI leadership to meet program goals.
