Bioprocess (PreSales) Solutions Consultant

IDBS specializes in AI/ML solutions for BioPharma, serving 80% of the top 20 global BioPharma companies with cloud software and services designed for the sector's evolving needs.

As a Solutions Consultant, you will partner with Account Managers to showcase how IDBS solutions address scientific data management challenges. This role reports to the Director, Solutions Consulting and is fully remote, requiring regular travel to customer sites and our offices in Boston, MA, and Woking, UK.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Deliver value-based product demonstrations in-person, remotely, and at conferences.
  • Manage pre-sales activities including demos, RFPs/RFIs with Account Managers.
  • Help qualify customer needs, demonstrate ROI, and drive sales engagement.
  • Provide feedback on customer, competitor, and technology trends to Product Managers and Marketing.
  • Improve our pre-sales materials through ongoing learning and collaboration.

Minimum requirements include:

  • Experience with scientific/informatic software (LIMS, LES, ELN).
  • Degree or equivalent experience in a scientific discipline (Biology, Chemical Engineering).
  • 3+ years in Bioprocess, Process Development, Pharma, Biotechnology, or Cell & Gene Therapy manufacturing.
  • Strong presentation skills and effective communication with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Travel and other requirements:

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally (minimum 25%).

Preferred experience:

  • Technical sales, consulting, or sales engineering experience.
  • Experience with IDBS or similar products, lab automation, SaaS, cloud applications.
  • Fluency in additional languages such as German, Dutch, French, Korean, or Japanese.
