Job summary

Amgen Rhode Island is seeking an Associate Manufacturing (Pilot Plant) to support cell culture, harvest and purification studies at 500L scale. You will operate single-use bioreactors, centrifugation, chromatography skids and filtration systems in a day shift with some off-shift and weekend coverage.

The role requires a biology/biotech-focused degree and hands-on experience in bioprocess operations, with strong problem-solving and documentation skills to support technology transfer and process

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in biotech or related field required.
Associate degree with 6 months biotech in manufacturing or process development.

Responsibilities

Aseptically maintain mammalian cell culture and perform bioreactor operations.
Purify proteins using multi-stage chromatography and filtration systems.
Set up and operate bioreactors, vessels, centrifugation and filtration equipment.
Document experimental data in electronic lab notebooks following GLP.
