Helix BioStructures, LLC is seeking a biophysically oriented Scientist to run diverse characterization workstreams in Indianapolis, IN. The role includes method development, assay qualification, QC, and data interpretation to support client projects.

The candidate will perform recombinant protein expression/purification and present findings in technical reports and client calls. Prior CRO/pharma experience with multiple techniques is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Hands-on competency across multiple biophysical techniques, with independent experience on at least three of the listed methods.
• Experience with recombinant protein expression and purification to support biophysics projects.
• Strong data analysis, curve fitting, and scientific judgment.

Responsabilités

• Design and execute biophysical characterization plans addressing purity, homogeneity, oligomeric state, stability, and binding.
• Determine binding affinities and kinetics using SPR, BLI, ITC, and MST with proper controls and replication.
• Express and purify recombinant proteins to support biophysics work and client needs.
• Prepare technical reports and present results to clients on calls.
