Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develop analyst schedules and align with manufacturing needs.
• Oversee instrument maintenance and calibration.
• Lead training and performance management of analysts.
• Support investigations and participate in audits.

Supervisor, Quality Control In-Process (Flex Shift)

Are you passionate about quality control, analytical testing, and team leadership? We're looking for a Supervisor, Quality Control In-Process (Flex Shift) to lead the daily operations of the QC In-Process team, ensuring high-quality analytical support for manufacturing operations while driving compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise the daily activities of the Quality Control In-Process team
• Review and approve analytical data, technical reports, SOPs, and test methods
• Support analytical testing activities including LAL, ELISA, HPLC, pH, UV spectroscopy, and compendial methods
• Develop analyst schedules and ensure alignment with manufacturing and client support needs
• Oversee instrument maintenance, calibration, and routine performance verification activities
• Lead training, development, and performance management of QC analysts
• Support investigations involving OOS, OOT, deviations, and quality events while collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Participate in client and regulatory audits while driving continuous improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Biology
• 5+ years of life sciences industry experience in a QC or analytical laboratory environment, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience
• Hands-on experience with analytical testing, laboratory instrumentation, and technical documentation including reports, procedures, and specifications
• Expertise in protein characterization, electrophoresis, ELISA, and chromatography
• Experience with aseptic techniques, LAL testing, and assay validation activities
• Strong knowledge of GMP regulations and regulatory audit requirements

Base Salary: $67,700 - $90,300 annually

Please Note

• On-site in Tustin, CA
• Full-time Flex Shift position
• Schedule is Sunday–Wednesday or Wednesday–Saturday, 5:00 PM – 4:00 AM
• Overtime, weekend, and holiday support may be required based on business needs
• Flexible scheduling may be required to support operational demands
