Job summary
GlaxoSmithKline in the United States is seeking a Facilities Process Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on biopharmaceutical process equipment, troubleshoot issues, and support continuous production operations. You will work with sanitary valves, pumps, autoclaves, chromatography columns, and PLC/SCADA systems, following cGMP guidelines.
You must have a high school diploma and 2+ years of experience with industrial equipment; welding or mechatronics certs are a plus.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required.
- 2+ years maintaining or troubleshooting industrial equipment.
- Familiarity with GMP and regulatory guidelines a plus.
- Able to work in tight, confined spaces.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and repairs process systems to ensure continuous production.
- Maintains sanitary valves, pumps, seals, centrifuges, and related equipment.
- Operates and interacts with PLC/SCADA and control systems.
- Performs preventative and corrective maintenance safely and efficiently.
