KCAS Bio in Kansas City, MO is seeking an Analyst II to apply biology-based knowledge in ligand binding assays and regulated workflows. You will execute assay steps, process data, and maintain GLP-compliant documentation while contributing to method development and validation.

The role emphasizes accuracy, independence, and collaboration. The team supports drug discovery, preclinical, and clinical studies using ELISA and MSD platforms, with emphasis on quality and compliance in a fast-growing

Qualifications

• Hands-on GLP-regulated laboratory experience is required.
• Experience with ligand binding assays (ELISA/MSD or similar) preferred.
• Strong lab skills including pipetting and plate-based assays.
• Familiarity with regulated workflows and data integrity requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work within SOP-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute assay workflows including sample preparation, reagent preparation, and plate-based assay execution with limited supervision
• Perform data processing and assist in preparing data summaries for review
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity in compliance with study protocols, SOPs & GLP requirements
• Troubleshoot routine assay or laboratory issues
• Ensure proper sample handling, tracking, and chain of custody
• Support method development, qualification, or validation activities as assigned
• Communicate study progress and issues to senior staff
• Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and values
