Job summary

ICON is seeking a Scientist I (Lab Analyst I) in Lenexa, Kansas to support ligand binding assay methods in a GLP environment. The role involves processing samples, validating analytical methods, reporting data, and ensuring quality control.

You will perform routine tests, learn ELISA and related assays, and maintain LBA instrumentation while documenting results with precision and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology, chemistry, or a related field.
• 1+ years of experience in a laboratory environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine laboratory tests in support of LBA method validation studies.
• Learn sample preparation techniques for ligand-binding assays like ELISA, PK, ADA, and biomarker assays.
• Operate, analyze, and maintain LBA instrumentation and systems.
• Assist in data analysis and troubleshooting experiments with your team.
• Keep the lab organized, instruments calibrated, and ensure data integrity and GLP quality standards.
