Job summary

The Engineering co-op at Viking Pump Inc., a unit of IDEX Corporation, is a full-time student role based in Cedar Falls, Iowa, within the Biopharma project group. You will assist design and development tasks for growth and innovation in biopharma pumping, collaborating on cross-functional teams across international boundaries.

Responsibilities include testing, data analysis, and creating CAD models in SolidWorks, while gaining hands-on experience with ERP BOMs and additive manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Major.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate on cross-functional and international project teams.
• Support New Product Development in biopharma segment.
• Assist with testing and data analysis of prototypes.
• Create and update models and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Maintain part numbers and BOMs in ERP system.
• Learn additive manufacturing and 3D scanning technologies.
