SUMMARY

Trebor International is looking for a Co-Op Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering student for the fourth quarter (October 1 to December 31) 2026 to complete critical project work and gain real-world experience. As work progresses, this may lead to a continuation of the Co-Op into the first (January 1 to March 31) and second (April 1 to June 30) quarters of 2027, and even potentially into a full-time position after graduation. As a Pump Engineer at Trebor International, you will serve as both a product designer and manufacturing engineer for high-purity pump technologies. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who can take ownership of well-defined projects while driving improvements in pump designs to support world-class production performance. You will contribute across the engineering lifecycle of our pump technologies, from concept development through design and manufacturing support, working under the guidance of senior engineers and managers. Success in this role hinges on strong technical foundations, follow-through, and teamwork. You'll be expected to participate in improvement efforts, enhance manufacturing workflows, and deliver designs that perform reliably in the demanding environments of the semiconductor and high-purity industries. The ideal candidate brings focus, initiative, and a willingness to grow while working closely with cross-functional teams.

  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturability and quality of all engineered designs.
  • Support Operations teams through troubleshooting, hands-on support, and clear documentation of procedures and processes.
  • Develop and maintain preventative maintenance standards for critical manufacturing equipment tied to pump production.
  • Continuously seek and implement improvements to tools, fixtures, processes, and workflows to enhance operator ease-of-use and reduce variation.
  • Present technical information clearly and concisely to internal stakeholders and contribute to cross-functional discussions.
