Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Project Engineer to support capital projects across facility and construction initiatives. You will work with project managers, design engineers, procurement, and operations to ensure safe, efficient delivery and alignment with program objectives.

The role involves coordination with clients and teams, reviewing technical documentation, and supporting commissioning and turnover activities. Travel to client sites may be required based on project demands.

Qualifications

• Strong technical and analytical skills to interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
• Experience with design reviews, field activities, and project controls.
• Ability to collaborate with diverse teams including design, construction, procurement, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and technical activities across capital projects, ensuring alignment with design intent and construction execution plans.
• Review design drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation for accuracy.
• Support field engineering activities including site walks and construction coordination.
• Help maintain project schedules by tracking deliverables and dependencies.
• Assist with project controls such as cost tracking, procurement coordination, and change documentation.
• Coordinate with design firms, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical questions.
• Prepare engineering logs, meeting minutes, and technical reports.
• Support commissioning and turnover activities including punch lists and equipment testing.
