Job summary

Syner-G is seeking a Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of capital projects across facility, infrastructure, and construction initiatives. The role involves engineering support, field coordination, documentation management, and problem-solving to ensure safe, efficient project delivery and alignment with program objectives.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 1-3 years of experience in capital projects; EIT is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, chemical, civil, industrial, or related discipline) required.
• EIT certification or progress toward licensure is a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience supporting capital projects, construction projects, facility upgrades, or engineering design efforts.
• Experience working in regulated or complex environments such as biotec.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering and technical activities across capital projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements, design intent, and construction execution plans.
• Assist with reviewing design drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, and technical documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Support field engineering activities including site walks, construction coordination, equipment verification, and issue resolution.
• Help maintain project schedules by tracking engineering deliverables, construction progress, and technical dependencies.
• Assist with project controls activities such as cost tracking, quantity verification, procurement coordination, and change documentation.
• Coordinate with design firms, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of technical questions and issues.
