Job summary

KCAS Bioanalytical and Biomarker Services is seeking an Analyst II to support bioanalytical testing within a GLP-regulated environment. You will execute ligand-binding assays (ELISA, MSD) and contribute to data processing, documentation, and data integrity within SOP-driven workflows.

You will work in a fast-growing CRO setting in Kansas City, contributing to study execution, method development, and data readiness for review while upholding KCAS Bio's standards and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biochemistry/Immunology or related field with 1–3 years of lab experience.
• Experience in a GLP-regulated laboratory environment is required.
• Hands-on experience with ligand binding assays (ELISA, MSD, or similar) preferred.
• Strong lab skills including pipetting, plate-based assays, and documentation.
• Familiarity with regulated workflows and data integrity requirements.
• Attention to detail and ability to work in SOP-driven environments.

Responsibilities

• Execute assay workflows including sample preparation, reagent preparation, and plate-based assay execution with limited supervision.
• Perform data processing and assist in preparing data summaries for review.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure data integrity in compliance with study protocols, SOPs & GLP regulatory requirements.
• Troubleshoot routine assay or laboratory issues and elevate when appropriate.
• Ensure proper sample handling, tracking, and chain of custody.
• Support method development, qualification, or validation activities as assigned.
• Communicate study progress and issues to senior staff.
• Perform all aspects of the job in a way that supports company brand and mission.
