Job summary

Amentum is seeking an experienced Biometrics Technician to support a DoD customer on-site in Spokane, WA. You will operate biometric collection systems, ensure data accuracy, and work directly with the customer daily to meet mission requirements.

Responsibilities include data entry, quality assurance, training on registration systems, and researching EBTS standards to maintain compliance. Requires TS/SCI eligibility and at least 2 years in biometrics/forensics.

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in biometrics or forensics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to access biometric databases and retrieve specialized reports.
• Ability to develop clear, accurate written reports from scientific literature.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet time-critical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Collect biometrics and biographical data using COTs and GOTs equipment.
• Provide briefings explaining biometric collection requirements and self-collection directions.
• Enter data into computer systems from direct contact with subjects.
• Identify errors and reconcile discrepancies through data research.
• Conduct quality assurance of collected data.
• Train on use of biometric registration systems.
• Research EBTS standards to ensure compliance for government sponsor.
• Use procedures and software tools to report biometric data timely for training and contingency operations.
• Attend biometrics courses and conferences to stay current on technology.
• Provide biometric expertise for R&D and OE of government programs.
• Update TTPs to align with industry standards.
• Recommend and manage COTs/GOTs software/hardware purchases.
