Job summary

SITA in Washington DC / remote across the United States seeks a Senior Business Development Manager for Biometrics Strategy & Policy Engagement. You will drive market adoption, executive engagement, and regional growth for our end‑to‑end biometric identity and digital traveler solutions across North America.

You’ll operate at the intersection of aviation, border management, digital identity, public policy, and airport modernization, advising airports, airlines, and government bodies while

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Public Policy, or related discipline.
• 15+ years in business development, strategy, or leadership within aviation, biometrics, or digital identity.
• Proven expertise in biometrics, digital identity, and traveler journeys.
• 7+ years of revenue growth, pipelines, and complex enterprise sales.
• Experience engaging at C-suite, agency leadership, and board levels in US/Canada.
• Strong understanding of policy, regulatory frameworks, and industry standards.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop biometrics-focused business development propositions.
• Lead executive narratives, value propositions, and messaging.
• Establish executive roundtables, advisory forums, and events.
• Drive market development to increase awareness and adoption.
• Partner with Sales to achieve revenue growth and pipeline objectives.
• Provide strategic leadership on pre-sales engagements and account planning.
• Build executive relationships with airports, government, and ecosystem partners.
