Job summary

Aiken Regional Medical Centers in Aiken, South Carolina, seeks a Manager of Biomedical Engineering to lead the HTM program across our facilities. You will guide policy, compliance, capital planning, and performance reporting while mentoring Biomed staff and coordinating with hospital leadership.

Ideal candidates have extensive HTM experience, proven supervisory skills, and a strong background in medical device regulation, CMMS management, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure safe,

Qualifications

• Extensive experience with healthcare technology management programs.
• Ability to supervise subordinates.
• Manages projects including device acquisition and installation and/or EOC committee assignments.
• ACI Certification Required (CBET, CRES, CLES or CHTM).
• Advanced HTM expertise across modalities and device integration.
• Understanding regulatory requirements of medical devices (CMS, TJC, CLIA, AABB, NRC, State, Local).
• Proficient with CMMS products and Microsoft Office; strong planning skills.
• Travel will be required periodically.

Responsibilities

• Works with HTM Leadership and facility leadership to manage the HTM program and deliver program excellence.
• Develops and sustains vendor and coworker relationships.
• Documents and maintains records in the CMMS; participates in continuing education.
• Participates in on-call schedule/rotation as directed.
• Develops and sustains a 5-year capital plan for devices in the CMMS database; facilitates device evaluations.
• Assists HTM leadership with device acquisition/replacement recommendations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
