Job description

Our Biomedical Technician opportunity allows experienced technicians to collaborate with healthcare professionals and lead technical initiatives in medical device technology. You will be responsible for installing, updating, performing preventative maintenance, and providing other services for Medical and Industrial Microscopy and Life Science Research equipment in hospitals across the United States, while delivering exceptional customer service. This role offers a chance to advance your technical skills in the medical device industry.

Job Requirements (Biomedical Technician – BMT)

1. Associate degree, military training, or equivalent biomedical or technical field service experience
2. Technical training programs preferred
3. Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an FSE
4. Medical device or military experience required
5. Effective documentation skills
6. Willingness to travel regionally or nationally as needed
7. Potential international travel for training (Passport required)
8. Strong customer-facing and brand representation skills
9. Coachable and a team player
10. Self-motivated, able to work independently or within a team
11. Completion of all required client trainings for relevant platforms
12. Active, unrestricted driver’s license and personal vehicle for local work
13. Residence within 45 minutes to 1 hour of an international or major airport; candidates within 30 miles preferred. Weekly travel required.

Responsibilities

4. Demo installation and deinstallation (packing)

Beneficial Qualifications

1. Background in biomedical, networking, military, or field-based technician roles
2. Experience in a healthcare technical environment
3. Strong computer skills, including troubleshooting with Microsoft Office applications

Compliance with client requirements, including full COVID-19 vaccination, may be necessary for on-site work.

The potential base pay range for this role is $35-$38 per hour, with actual compensation based on qualifications, location, and schedule. Incentives, bonuses, and benefits may also be offered.
