Job summary

Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, part of NYC Health + Hospitals, is a premier acute care facility in the Bronx. The role supports repair, calibration and preventive maintenance of a wide range of clinical equipment, ensuring safe patient care and compliance with policies.

Under supervision, technicians troubleshoot, document service events, and collaborate with clinicians, IT, and facilities teams. Strong knowledge of hospital biomedical devices and EMR/PACS integration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years' experience servicing a broad range of clinical/patient care equipment, devices, and network medical systems in hospital or healthcare settings.
• CBET certification with 3 years of relevant experience as described above.
• Associate’s degree with 5 years of related experience in biomedical tech.

Responsibilities

• Repair, calibration, maintenance of clinical equipment and systems; document service events.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety testing on clinical devices.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate with clinicians and IT when needed.
• Maintain inventory and report equipment status and service histories.
• Respond to emergency service calls and perform related duties as assigned.
