Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Biomedical Technician required.
• 1–2 years of biomedical technician experience preferred.
• Strong safety and compliance knowledge for electrical/mechanical devices.
• Ability to learn maintenance and troubleshooting of medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Inspect newly acquired medical devices for safety and labeling.
• Perform preventive maintenance and electrical safety testing.
• Respond to equipment problems and troubleshoot clinically.
• Perform repairs at component level with diagnostic tools.
• Document inspections, repairs and maintenance activities.
• Provide training to staff on testing and basic repairs.
