Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years full-time experience as a Clinical Engineer or Biomedical Technician.
• Familiarity with CMMS software and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform incoming inspection, installation, calibration, preventative maintenance (PM), corrective maintenance, and disposition of medical equipment.
• Provide technical support in equipment pre-purchase evaluation and capital budgeting.
• Work with customers and management to ensure technology is used appropriately; provide in-service education on equipment.
• Collaborate with outside vendors to secure repairs and parts; monitor vendor activities.
• Prepare purchase requests for services and supplies; assist with invoices and expenses accuracy.
• Maintain accurate inventory listings of equipment and service events.
• Document all service events in the CMMS per policy; attend meetings and training as requested.
• Provide after-hours on-call support; ensure health & safety standards and regulatory compliance.
