Job summary

Prime Healthcare is seeking a Biomed Technician I to perform maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment, install and calibrate devices, and support clinicians in patient care. You will work under supervision, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and participate in an after-hours on-call rotation.

The role requires strong communication skills, basic engineering knowledge, and proficiency with MS Office, clinical applications, and CMMS systems.

Qualifications

• Required: self-motivation, positive attitude, and strong communication skills.
• Must have strong computer skills including MS Office, Clinical applications, CMMS systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot, read schematics and/or blue prints.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance and repair of biomedical equipment under supervision.
• Installs, tests, calibrates and repairs equipment to support patient care.
• Maintains compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
• Available for after-hours work and rotating on-call schedule.
