InterMed is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician to work independently in repairing and performing preventative maintenance on hospital biomedical devices. You will maintain records, document results and coordinate outside resources to complete repairs while focusing on timely responses to meet customer requirements.

The role requires a two-year electronics degree or equivalent military experience, 1–4 years of related work, and strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifikationen

• Two-year degree from an accredited school in electronics or equivalent military experience.
• One to four years’ experience preferred or greater.
• Completed internship with accredited program.
• Strong communications and organizational skills.
• Must have good attention to detail.

Aufgaben

• Perform repairs and calibrations to biomedical equipment and maintain records by filing reports.
• Solve problems utilizing analytical thought process with internal/external resources.
• Assist other personnel as required.
• Interact with vendors; research resources and suppliers.
• Comply with facility and company policy and procedure guidelines.
• Maintain work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Conduct duties and interactions professionally.
• Keep knowledge up-to-date with ongoing educational opportunities and NFPA-99 requirements.
