Job summary

Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences (RBHS) seeks a Laboratory Technician for the Pharmacology department at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Under the PI, you will perform technical lab duties and computational analyses of transcription factor networks related to cell fate and aging of the immune system.

Key duties include handling lab supplies, supervising staff, standard lab procedures, and developing pipelines for multiomic data analysis while maintaining HPC resources and assisting

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in a relevant science required.
• Experience supporting analysis of single-cell and bulk high-throughput sequencing data with listed tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in packing, unpacking, storing and classifying lab supplies and specimens.
• May supervise Lab Assistants and other staff as needed.
• Perform standard laboratory procedures and analyses.
• Conduct computational analysis of bulk and single-cell datasets; develop pipelines for high-throughput data.
• Maintain and update HPC resources and core libraries.
• Assist with preparation of culture media, reagents, stains and stock solutions; support experiments.
