Monahan's Nelson Labs team on the Busch Campus, performing routine lab work and assisting with ongoing projects. The position involves preparing samples, assisting with collection, maintaining detailed records, and managing mouse husbandry tasks such as genotyping and caretaking.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific/technical discipline or equivalent combination.
• Experience working with mouse husbandry and a mouse colony.
• Ability to record and maintain data in computerized and non-computerized formats.
• Ability to communicate effectively and participate in health and safety programs.

Responsibilities

• Prepares biological samples.
• Assists lab members with sample collection.
• Processes samples following routine protocols and maintains detailed records for each sample.
• Performs mouse husbandry: genotyping, weaning, and animal care.
