Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Enrollment or completion in biomedical-related field (undergrad/grad).
• General wet lab skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares samples and carry out single-molecule biophysical assays on force-producing enzymes.
• Assists with daily maintenance of various cell cultures.
• Supports molecular biology and recombinant protein preparation.
• Uses and maintains instrumentation for optical and magnetic tweezers.
• Uses and improves LabVIEW and MATLAB scripts for data acquisition and analysis.
• Maintains clear and comprehensive laboratory records.
• Performs statistical analyses of research data.
• Analyzes and processes data for publication and grant applications.
