Job summary

Philips is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician for Mullica Hill, NJ to service multi-vendor biomedical equipment at customer sites. The role involves installing, troubleshooting, and PMs with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely issue resolution.

The candidate should have 2+ years of biomedical equipment experience, a related associate degree, and strong knowledge of electronics and test equipment. Travel within the area and flexible hours are required in this field role.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience servicing medical equipment; biomedical, patient monitoring, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators, or infusion pump experience preferred.
• Associates degree in electronics or equivalent; BSEE/BSEET/BSME/BSMET preferred.
• Knowledge of electronic circuit boards, schematics, processors and computer hardware; ability to install, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Must be able to perform physical, cognitive and environmental requirements; able to travel within area.
• Flexibility to work hours, overtime, weekends, and on-call rotations; travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and repair on equipment using service manuals, OEM or 3rd party training.
• Identify and resolve customer issues, provide appropriate communication, involve site service personnel.
• Maintain customer satisfaction; demonstrate ownership and urgency to deliver results.
• Independently complete PMs, FCOs, installations, and diagnose electronic, network, and mechanical problems.
