Job summary

Philips is seeking a Field Biomedical Equipment Technician to service the Bronx, NY area. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain biomedical equipment at customer sites, while managing customer relationships and ensuring service level commitments are met.

The role requires 5+ years in medical service or 7+ years in electromechanical fields, with experience in ventilators and related devices. It is a field role with a Monday–Friday, 8AM–5PM schedule.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a medical service environment or 7+ years in other electromechanical industries.
• Experience with ventilators; preferred familiarity with biomedical devices, patient monitoring, defibrillators, and infusion pumps.
• Associates degree in electronics or equivalent education/experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM, FCOs, installations, and related tasks, diagnosing electronic, network, and mechanical issues.
• Provide exceptional customer service by setting expectations and addressing customer needs.
• Participate as onsite team member and seek opportunities to improve processes and training.
• Complete administrative duties and comply with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
