Company Overview

The company is a market-leading manufacturer of laboratory diagnostics equipment used for screening and monitoring various diseases, primarily in Oncology, Diabetes, Hemoglobinopathy, and other rare pathologies.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary, plus time and a half for overtime, and a company car.

The Position

• Responsible for installation, maintenance, and repair of laboratory analyzers and automated instruments at customer sites in LA and southern California.
• Provide technical support to customers in medical and laboratory settings.
• This is a home-based role in LA with regular travel to customer sites (usually 3-4 days a week).
• Collaborate closely with the US service and support team.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering (Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, Medical Engineering, or related fields).
• Ability to travel regularly within LA and southern California.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Relevant titles include Biomedical Equipment Technician, Biomedical Engineer, Field Service Technician, Medical Laboratory Technician, Medical Technologist, etc.
