Job summary

Baptist Health's Biomedical Engineering Department is seeking a BioMed Tech II to install, test, repair, maintain, and calibrate clinical equipment used in patient care. This full-time day shift role emphasizes adherence to policies, regulatory standards, and safety.

You will manage PM/CM work orders, assist with device installation, and ensure equipment readiness for use. Ideal candidates hold an associate degree in BioMed ET/IT/EE/ET or an equivalent BS, with experience; AAMI CBET

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in BioMed ET, IT, EE, ET.
• Two years related experience.
• In lieu of degree a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Information Technology OR Military Biomedical Experience.

Responsibilities

• Installs, tests, repairs, maintains, and calibrates clinical medical devices following policies and manufacturer guidelines.
• Completes Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work orders daily.
• Generates work orders and retrieves them via computer or approved mobile device.

Education

Associates Degree in BioMed ET, IT, EE, ET

Two Years related experience

Bachelor of Science Degree in Biomedical Engineering or Information Technology OR Military Biomedical Experience
