Baptist Health is seeking a BioMed Tech II to join the Biomedical Engineering team. This full-time day position focuses on installing, testing, maintaining, and calibrating clinical medical devices, with emphasis on preventive and corrective maintenance and strong compliance with safety standards.

Under supervision, you will manage work orders, coordinate materials, and communicate service status to customers, ensuring devices are ready for clinical use.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in BioMed ET, IT, EE, ET or equivalent combo.
• Two years of related biomedical equipment experience.
• In lieu of degree, BS in Biomedical Engineering or Information Technology or Military Biomedical Experience.

Responsabilités

• Operates Preventive Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work orders.
• Maintains and calibrates clinical medical devices.
• Performs initial performance inspections and validates new equipment.
• Ensures equipment documentation, warranty and CMMS entries are complete.
