Baptist Health is seeking a BioMed Tech II to support the Biomedical Engineering Department in Lexington. The role involves installing, testing, repairing and calibrating clinical devices, following PM schedules and CMMS processes to ensure safety and reliability for patient care.

Under supervision, you will manage work orders, coordinate with end users, and document equipment status. Preferred candidates have a two-year related degree and experience, with AAMI CBET or related IT/cybersecurity

Qualifications

• Associates degree required in BioMed ET, IT, EE, or ET; two years related experience.
• In lieu of degree, a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering or Information Technology is acceptable.

Responsabilités

• Demonstrates basic knowledge of the medical device preventative maintenance program and PM work orders.
• Completes Preventative Maintenance and Corrective Maintenance work orders daily.
• Reviews status, retrieves work orders, and communicates with customers about status.
• Installs, delivers, and validates new medical devices; performs initial performance inspection.
• Ensures CMMS data entry with warranty and PO information; marks PM labels.
