MultiMedical Systems is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician I to join our team in the San Francisco area. You will install, calibrate, maintain and repair a broad range of biomedical equipment used in healthcare settings, and support clinical staff with equipment training.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology or a related field, 2–4 years of hospital biomed experience, and strong knowledge of medical device technology and regulatory

Qualificações

• Associate's degree or higher in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics, or related field.
• Minimum 2–4 years of hospital Biomedical Equipment Technician experience.
• Strong knowledge of medical device technology and healthcare regulations.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, software, and manuals.
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.

Responsabilidades

• Perform advanced troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on complex biomedical equipment and systems.
• Install, calibrate, and validate new medical devices and equipment according to manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and inspections in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
• Provide technical support and training to clinical staff on the proper use and care of biomedical equipment.
• Collaborate with vendors, manufacturers, and other healthcare professionals to resolve equipment issues and ensure optimal performance.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, infection control protocols, and regulatory guidelines such as FDA, Joint Commission, and OSHA.
• Assist in the development and implementation of equipment management programs and policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond promptly to emergency repair requests.
