Job summary

MultiMedical Systems is seeking a detailed Biomedical Equipment Technician for a part-time role in Reston, VA. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment to ensure safety and performance in a clinical setting.

The successful candidate will diagnose malfunctions, order parts, maintain records, and support healthcare professionals. An associate degree is preferred with at least 2 years hospital-based biomedical equipment experience; US work

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Must pass background and drug screen (no exceptions).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment.
