Job summary

MultiMedical Systems in Township, TX, is seeking a detail-oriented Biomedical Equipment Technician for a part-time role. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibration of medical equipment to ensure safety and optimal performance.

The ideal candidate has an Associate’s degree in biomedical engineering or related field and at least two years’ hospital experience, with knowledge of regulatory requirements, strong problem-solving, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in biomedical equipment maintenance and repair in a hospital setting.
• Knowledge of medical equipment and regulatory requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours as needed.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.

• Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on medical equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
• Order and install replacement parts as needed.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Provide technical support and training to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance and repairs.
