Job summary

TriMedx in the United States seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician I (BMET I) to perform validation, inspection, maintenance, calibration, and repair of general biomedical equipment under supervision. The role requires attention to safety, reliability, and quality in daily tasks.

Qualifications

• 2 year degree in a technical/electronics field or equivalent experience required.
• TRIMEDX Trained Certification or equivalent biomedical certification program is a plus/waived if applicable.
• 3 months experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PA inspections, scheduled maintenance, ESI, and OVP on general biomedical equipment.
• Repair, install, and calibrate general biomedical equipment; inform supervisors of status and concerns.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and outside service technicians to ensure proper service delivery.
• Maintain biomedical equipment database and inventory, ensure PA schedules and service history accuracy; assist with audits.
