Job summary

Baptist Health - Central Alabama is seeking a Biomedical Technician I to learn how to repair medical products and work in a team environment under supervision. The technician will assist in preventative maintenance and learn to resolve routine technical problems independently.

Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma, and an associate's degree in electronics or Biomedical Engineering. This is a full-time position with first shift hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate's degree or equivalent training/experience in electronics or Biomedical Engineering preferred.
• Previous experience in biomedical equipment repair preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to repair medical products under supervision.
• Assist in preventative maintenance and service repair.
• Resolve routine technical problems independently.

Skills

Mechanical devices and tools experience

Fundamentals of Dicom & Networking

Electronic circuit boards experience

PC competency in word processing and spreadsheets

Education
