Qualified candidates typically hold an associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field and have 5+ years’ experience servicing relevant equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong technical background with associate degree or military training in electronics, mechanical or biomedical technology.
• Five+ years’ experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
• Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record in compliance with policy.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the initial point of contact for all service-related equipment and physical plant issues.
• Coordinates with OEM vendors for maintenance/repair and minimizes downtime.
• Maintains Biomedical Equipment inventory and uploads data to Asset Management database.
• Ensures adherence to CDC, OSHA, AAMI, Joint Commission and Medicare standards.
• Provides staff education and training to ensure safe and effective equipment use.
