Job summary

Eyecare Partners LLC is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to oversee service activities, maintenance, repair, and calibration of biomedical equipment across sites. The role requires collaboration with IT, facilities, and purchasing teams to ensure patient safety and continuity of care.

Qualified candidates will have an engineering background, strong technical skills, and 5+ years in ophthalmology/optometry equipment service.

Qualifications

• Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical, or related) required.
• 5+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work at heights or awkward positions.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates visibility and builds productive relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
• Manages maintenance, repair, and calibration of biomedical equipment per standards.
• Coordinates service with OEMs/vendors to minimize downtime and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Maintains inventory of biomedical equipment and uploads data to Asset Management system.
