Job summary

EyeCare Partners seeks a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to maintain ophthalmic and support equipment across multiple sites, working with OEMs, IT, real estate, and purchasing to ensure uptime and patient safety.

The role requires strong technical background in electronics and mechanics, 5+ years of service experience, and a valid driver’s license. Travel to site locations may be necessary.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or higher in Electrical, Biomedical or Mechanical fields.
  • 5+ years of service experience on electrical/electronics/IT or mechanical equipment.
  • Valid driver’s license and compliant driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Establishes productive relationships with vendors and stakeholders.
  • Repairs, maintains, and calibrates biomedical equipment and facilities.
  • Manages inventory for Eyecare Partners Asset Management database.
  • Coordinates with OEMs/vendors to minimize downtime and coordinate service.
  • Ensures compliance with CDC/OSHA/AAMI/Joint Commission and HIPAA guidelines.
