EyeCare Partners Career Opportunities is seeking a Biomedical Equipment Technician II to manage service-related activities, maintenance, and parts inventory for biomedical equipment and facilities. This positionis responsible forall service-related activities with OEM vendors, maintenance, repair, spare parts inventory, biomedical equipment, and physical plant repair & maintenance. Must work closely with and be responsive to All Stakeholders within the assigned area, IT, real estate andpurchasing. Qualified candidates will have a strong technical background which may include an associate degree or military training in electronics, Mechanical or biomedical technology.
Associate’s/Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering(Electrical, Biomedical, Mechanical, or related field)
High School Diploma/GED: Above educationrequirementmay not be held ifcandidaterepresentsthe necessaryindustryexperience.
5+ years’ experience servicing electrical, electronics,ITor mechanical equipment
Valid Driver’s License issued in the employee’s state of residence
Motor Vehicle Record must be in compliance with company policy.
5+ Years in the Ophthalmology/Optometry settingand/or CBET Certification (Preferred).
Minimum of (1) Diagnostic Certification within theOphthalmologyfield.
Previousmedical office experience preferred;previousophthalmic experience strongly preferred.

Ability tolift upto 50 lbs. and safely move large/bulky equipment.
