GE HealthCare seeks a Biomedical Technician to respond to service calls in a Jacksonville, FL hospital system. You will evaluate, diagnose, and repair biomedical equipment and perform preventive maintenance to support high-quality patient care.

The role requires the ability to document work and adhere to regulatory requirements. Associate or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is expected, with after-hours on-call potential.

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree, Bachelor’s degree, military education, participant in GEHC Biomed/FE Services Internship or Military Externship; OR High School Diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience servicing electrical, electronics, IT or mechanical equipment.
• Experience with electronic digital circuitry and electronic or electro-mechanical devices.
• Experience interpreting schematic diagrams.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate customer biomedical equipment issues, implement repairs, and perform planned maintenance and safety/environmental inspections.
• Maintain relationships and communications with customers to ensure resolution and proper follow-up.
• Ensure documentation of all work performed is captured.
• Identify and report all customer quality or compliance concerns to the Quality Organization.
