LMH Health in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Biomedical Engineering Coordinator to support operational, administrative, and regulatory functions of the Biomedical Engineering program across the hospital system.

You will coordinate preventive maintenance, manage service contracts, maintain equipment records in CMMS, and support accreditation readiness. This role serves as a liaison among engineering, clinical departments, vendors, and support services to ensure compliant equipment management.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years’ work experience in healthcare operations, contract administration, clinical engineering support, facilities support, or similar coordination experience.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred in business administration, healthcare administration, supply chain management, or related field.
• Experience with a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) and with Workday procurement or contract lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with The Joint Commission environment of care standards and CMS conditions of participation.
• Familiarity with medical device recall and field corrective action processes.
• Contract management certification or administrative professional certification preferred.

Responsabilités

• Administers service, warranty, and maintenance agreements for clinical and medical equipment; maintains records and renewal schedules.
• Coordinates preventive maintenance schedules and service activities with departments and vendors.
• Maintains equipment records in CMMS and reconciles data across systems.
• Produces reports on preventive maintenance, vendor performance, and budget planning.
• Provides departmental administrative support including purchasing coordination and records management.
