Job summary

McKenzie Willamette is seeking a Biomedical Supervisor to oversee design, development, and safety testing of biomedical equipment. You will ensure compliance with regulatory standards, manage budgets and vendor relationships, and lead maintenance activities in line with OEM recommendations.

The role involves capital planning support, project coordination, and active participation in hospital committees as required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience as a biomedical technician required.
• 1–3 years in a supervisory biomedical role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the design, development and safety testing of biomedical equipment.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and adherence to quality standards.
• Manage budgets and vendor relationships for the equipment inventory.
• Oversee preventive maintenance per OEM recommendations and schedules.
• Assist with capital planning, acquisitions, and disposition of devices.
