VA Puget Sound Health Care System seeks a Biomedical Equipment Support Specialist (Information Systems). You will maintain medical servers, networks, diagnostic software, and clinical applications, ensuring uptime for patient care systems.
Responsibilities include managing HL7/DICOM interfaces, applying cybersecurity standards, and coordinating with IT and clinical teams to support electronic health records and medical device connectivity.
Competenze
- Associates or higher degree in biomedical technology or biomedical engineering.
- 1 year of creditable experience with electronics or IT/engineering.
- Completion of DOD BME training or HTM certificate programs with/without internship.
- Certification such as CBET, CRES, CLES, or CHTM preferred.
Mansioni
- Maintain computer and server based medical equipment, databases, and software.
- Manage medical equipment and clinical system projects interfacing with an electronic health record or other information systems.
- Apply cybersecurity standards to medical devices and healthcare IT systems.
- Support HL7/DICOM interfaces, PACS/VNA workflows, and device connectivity.
