Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum three to five years of proven successful service experience on complex laboratory or hospital instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of calibration and preventive maintenance procedures.
• Ability to train and lead Biomedical Equipment Technicians and coordinate with Facilities/Operations

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, perform preventive maintenance and repair of laboratory equipment to ensure uptime.
• Prioritize equipment repairs; requisition parts cost-efficiently and train technicians.
• Maintain CMMS records with service/repair reports and calibrations.
• Adhere to safety procedures in all duties.
• Collaborate with vendors/labs to source parts during outages.
• Inform management of equipment needs and projected repair times.
• Establish priorities and manage multiple projects.
• Provide timely responses to internal clients and management requests.
