Job summary

Veterans Engineering, a subsidiary of Aretum, seeks a Biomedical Engineer/Clinical Engineer to manage complex medical equipment lifecycle projects, including planning, procurement, implementation, risk assessment, and replacement strategies.

You will oversee medical device inventories, asset planning, regulatory initiatives, and networked device databases, while advising healthcare leadership on technology choices to enhance patient safety and operational effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or CCE certification.
• 3+ years hospital/healthcare experience maintaining medical equipment or managing a hospital program.
• Knowledge of medical systems, networking, and information security in healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead independent projects for complex biomedical equipment installations (planning, procurement, installation, testing).
• Coordinate with clinical, technical, and education staff for deployments.
• Manage networked medical device installations and risks assessments.
• Maintain and analyze the Medical Equipment inventory and lifecycle plans.
