Axle Energy seeks a Computer Systems Analyst to join the NIH project team in Baltimore, MD, supporting the NIA. The role involves analyzing and improving web-based data collection activities, automating medical image data workflows, and ensuring data integrity across systems.

Qualifications

• Provide expert recommendations in Perl CGI applications for study investigators.
• Advise on optimal use of electronic media for data management and record keeping.
• Automate image transfer, storage, and conversion using DICOM across imaging equipment.
• Mentor the computer support technician and troubleshoot web apps, servers and networks.
• Ensure data integrity and auditing of technician-entered information.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, document, and deploy web-based data collection systems.
• Coordinate full lifecycle of web applications and related databases.
• Write reports and documentation for programming tasks.
• Provide IT support and training on tools and reports.
• Interface with users to gather requirements and execute plans.
